If you wish to become a member of our church, a New Believers/Church Membership Classes are beginning during Sunday School hour.
District Budget update: We have about 50% of our District Budgets paid. We started out with our total of $4200. Please make this a matter of prayer. God is able!
The Stair Lift Project update! – We have the cost of the lift of $400.00 paid for and $294.50 so far for the installation of the stair lift. We now have the lift in our possession, we are getting the electrician lined up and should see our addition to our church soon.
Crisis Care Kits – Month of June - 2 Hand Towels
Sponsor a Child – Please remember this outreach which our church has committed to two very special children. It takes $50.00 a month to provide for our two children. Please remember our two children in prayer and our giving. Our two children are Ever Daniel Rodriguez Matey and Goitse Badenjapelo. From the beginning of the outreach, the church board voted to make up the difference when any time we were short. Please keep in mind that the money goes out on the 10th of every month.
Camps are upon us - July 16-26 at 7:30 pm - Camp Peniel - For further information see Pastor Paul for applications etc.
Teen all-nighter “Teen Take Over for the LORD” has been set for June 6th-7th beginning on Saturday at 7:00pm and going until after service the next morning. They will be baking, painting their room, games, devotions, and naturally; eating during this overnighter. Not only is it "TEEN TAKEOVER" Sunday, but it is dress-down day where it is an option for everyone to wear casual clothing/or pajamas. Teens also will “Take Over” the Sunday Worship Service that following morning. We will send the rules and permission slips with them and must have them signed and returned before the overnighter. The brave chaperones will be adults from our church.
Looking ahead to the Yard/Bake sale – Dates have been set for June 12th and 13th for the Teens’ annual yard and bake sale. They would really like to have a nice selection of baked good this year as that went over so well. Please plan ahead to help them. You may also wish to donate things like flour, cake mixes, frosting, chips, nuts and anything the teens can use to bake, which they plan on doing as one of their activities. We have a dedicated, ambitious youth group…let’s support them all we are able to!
Teen Fund Raiser – The Monster Cans are here - The youth group passed out monster cans recently so you can start saving your change in them so they can work their way to camp as well as other youth activities. Please see Nina if you did not get one! Other fund raisers are planned this spring and early summer. Our youth group has doubled this year, so we will need twice the support! Let’s show them we care by supporting their efforts!
Let the remodel begin - The teens have obtained a couch, table, and TV for the teen room at church which is now upstairs in the teen room, the beginning of a re-model which will make it “their space”.
Sunday Morning Specials: There is a sign-up sheet on the teen bulletin board at the front on the church by the door for anyone (young, old or anyone in between) interested in singing a special on any Sunday of their choice. You may choose to read a poem or anything you wish!
